What is Elemental Way?

Elemental Way is a holistic women’s coaching practice based in Perth, offering both in-person and online programs. Combining strength, mobility, and bodyweight training with an understanding of the female cycle, my approach helps women build strength with awareness, reconnect to their bodies, and find balance between discipline and flow.

Do I need experience before starting?

Not at all. My 8-week foundations program and 1:1 coaching are designed for women at every level — from complete beginners to experienced movers. Whether your goals include building your first chin-up, handstand, heavy deadlift, or working towards muscle-ups and deep end range holds the focus is always on meeting your body where it’s at and creating sustainable, confident strength over time.

What is cyclical training?

Cyclical training is often misunderstood as simply matching your workouts to the phases of your menstrual cycle — but at Elemental Way, it’s more nuanced than that. It is seen as cyclical awareness: learning to recognise and respond to the body’s changing signals rather than following rigid charts or infographics.

While strength and skill development still rely on consistency and progressive overload, cyclical awareness teaches you how to adapt your training, recovery, and nutrition to support those goals over time. It’s less about restriction and more about respect — understanding that your body is not a machine to override, but a language to be decoded.

Can I train during my period?

Yes, absolutely. What you choose to focus on during your bleed is personal and depends on your energy, recovery, and how you wish to work with your body. Some women feel clear, strong, and balanced and enjoy training through this time, while others prefer to slow down, rest, or move gently.

At Elemental Way, it’s all about listening to your body’s cues and understanding that this phase can carry physical, emotional, and even psychological insight. Whether you lift, stretch, or rest, the key is training with awareness and curiosity.

How does online coaching work?

Online coaching through Elemental Way includes personalised programming, detailed video demonstrations, and weekly feedback via video or message check-ins. You’ll also gain access to training insights and materials that explore movement, recovery, and lifestyle concepts to support your growth beyond the gym.

For 1:1 clients, programs are updated weekly to reflect progress and goals. All programs and coaching are delivered through my custom Movement app — an interactive platform that hosts your programs, videos, and messaging in one place. The broader vision for Elemental Way is to create a community of women who can support one another through their training, self-awareness, and shared strength journey.

What equipment do I need for online coaching?

You can start with very little — many of my programs use mostly bodyweight training to build strength, mobility, and control. The minimum equipment I recommend includes yoga blocks, a foam roller, resistance bands or a dowel, rings, and a few small weights.

For 1:1 coaching, I’ll always tailor your program to what you have available, whether that’s a home setup or full gym access. As you progress, your equipment needs may evolve to support new skills and greater strength capacity.

What’s included in the 8-week Elemental Way program?

The 8-week Elemental Way program is a guided introduction to strength, mobility, and bodyweight training for women. It includes progressive weekly programming, video demonstrations, and education on training, recovery, and lifestyle foundations.

Participants receive weekly program updates and personalised feedback, along with a 30-minute catch-up call each week to discuss progress, motivation, and adjustments. The program is delivered through the Movement app, which houses all sessions, videos, and progress tracking in one place. Designed to build consistency, confidence, and a deeper connection to the body, the program creates a strong foundation for long-term training success.

Where are you located, and do you offer coaching outside Perth?

Elemental Way operates independently from Inspired Movement Gym in Perth City (6000). Coaching is available in person across the Perth CBD and surrounding areas, as well as online for women throughout Australia and internationally. The online programs and 1:1 coaching are delivered through the Movement app, allowing clients to access training, feedback, and community support from anywhere.
